Which crops are eligible to join Alberami
The following crops are currently eligible to participate: Olive, Almond, Carob, Chestnut, Hazelnut, Walnut, Citrus, Arable. Coming soon, other crops.
Is the Membership fee annual ?
NOT.
The Alberami membership fee is a one-time fee: it is paid only once and is valid for the duration of membership. Areas up to 10 hectares owe no membership fee.
Does Membership in Alberami exclude CAP contributions ?
ABSOLUTELY NOT !
All farmers participating in the Alberami project also receive CAP contributions as usual. The profits received by Alberami are private and have nothing to do with public or EU funds.
When do I receive profits from Alberami ?
Carbon Credits from carbon farming are generated every 365 days.
After their generation, 1-2 months are required for International Validator checks and subsequent sale.
The first year, about 14 months after signing the Membership Contract (after particle census).
From the second year onward, every about 14 months.
What is the difference between Fiduciary Membership and Standard Membership ?
The Standard Membership fee is paid at the time of joining and allows for 75% of the proceeds from the sale of generated Carbon Credits.
The Fiduciary Membership fee is paid at the same time as receiving 65% of the proceeds from the sale of generated Carbon Credits.
