Thomas, graduated with honors and Solemn Citation in Agricultural Science and Technology in 2007 at Università degli Studi Mediterranea, Reggio di Calabria, Italy.
He received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro specializing, at CREA-OFA, in varietal identification in olive trees and molecular traceability of olive oil through the use of molecular markers
SSR (simple sequence repeat).
He has collaborated with the Council for Research in Agriculture and Analysis of Agricultural Economics, Research Center for Olive, Fruit and Citrus Cultivation (CREA-OFA), where he worked on Italian olive varieties adaptable to the super intensive farming model.
He deals with agriculture 4.0 through the use of drone with multispectral camera, drafts prescription maps and IoT systems.
