for the environment.

We are a Community of Sustainable Farmers and Businesses
We are legally established as a Benefit Corporation, with a dual mission encompassing both profit objectives and the pursuit of a positive impact on society and the biosphere. As a united community of technicians and farmers, we are dedicated to the promotion of biodiversity and regenerative farming practices.
Our belief in sustainable agriculture is deeply rooted in our conviction that it can not only reduce COâ‚‚ emissions but also serve as a formidable force for good.
Our overarching mission is to enrich our natural heritage by spearheading eco-sustainable projects that effectively curtail pollution and combat the challenges of climate change.

Green Action
Environmental Sustainability is not merely a philosophy; it requires a well-defined program, resource organization, concrete and measurable actions to achieve the goal.
Therefore, our aim is to generate tangible value for the environment and local communities that endures over time.

Promoting nature-based solutions to increase COâ‚‚ absorption.
At Alberami, we are pioneering a fresh approach to agriculture called Carbon Farming. It’s designed to enhance carbon capture in agricultural lands by employing practices known to expedite the removal of COâ‚‚ from the atmosphere and its storage within biomass and organic soil matter.

Sustainability and inclusivity
We’re an Italian organization based in the heart of Puglia, born in Ostuni. From here, we develop Green projects that engage communities and revolutionize traditional paradigms across Italy and throughout the Mediterranean region. Our projects are designed to include all professional farmers, even the smaller ones with a minimum of 1 hectare of farmland.
To support change and promote regenerative agricultural practices, we collaborate with our farmers to create Nature-Based Carbon Credits, which we offer in the voluntary market to companies looking to reduce emissions and contribute to eco-friendly initiatives.
Moreover, through our RAAS (Regeneration As A Service) program, we are dedicated to establishing agroforestry projects on neglected, depleted, and marginal lands, all with the aim of boosting biodiversity and rejuvenating natural ecosystems.

Restoring and Improving Agricultural Ecosystems and Climate
Our efforts are focused on improving the environment and mitigating the effects of climate change. This involves reducing pollution and waste, increasing the number of trees, capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, and restoring soil fertility. These actions have positive outcomes for everyone.
Moreover, our projects enable forward-thinking businesses committed to emission reduction to integrate climate-neutral strategies into their initiatives. This contributes to the development of local, high-value, and socially and environmentally responsible projects.
Lastly, these initiatives allow farmers to benefit from an additional source of income for their commitment and to enhance their carbon sequestration capacity, food quality, biodiversity, water retention capabilities, soil structure, and profitability.
Sustainable Agriculture as a fundamental tool
Transitioning to Regenerative Agriculture is a win-win for farmers and the environment
How does the AgroEcology program work ?
Work your land sustainably, and we will do the rest.
STEP 1
Provide details about your farm, including its size, location, and current agricultural practices.
STEP 2
We define the new agricultural practices to be followed as part of the Project.
STEP 3
Provide additional documentation, such as the farm’s company file and other documents required for the evaluation.
STEP 4
We analyze the data and provide you with an initial assessment of the potential for additional CO2 sequestration from your crops.
STEP 5
We send you the membership agreement for your acceptance and signature, and we collect soil samples to establish the baseline.
STEP 6
You begin implementing the new sustainable agricultural practices outlined for your farm.
STEP 7
After approximately 12 months, we measure carbon sequestration through satellite imagery and soil sampling.
STEP 8
We create and sell the credits generated by you based on the actual amount of COâ‚‚ sequestered and make a payment to you of your share.

Measure your company’s, product’s, or event’s Carbon Footprint and become Carbon Neutral.
The “Carbon Footprint” is the comprehensive measure of greenhouse gas emissions, primarily carbon dioxide, associated with a human activity, product, or event.
To become “carbon neutral,” it’s essential to reduce the emissions related to your company or activity and offset the residual emissions that will inevitably occur.
Start by understanding your Environmental Impact.

Let's work together to reduce your company's COâ‚‚ emissions to zero.

William Troost-Ekong: "The First Carbon-Neutral International Football Transfer"
William Troost-Ekong, a professional football player currently with greek team PAOK FC, departed Watford in January 2023 to sign a loan deal with Salernitana of Serie A. During the transfer he collaborated with eco-friendly football boot company Sokito to determine the carbon footprint of the relocation along with all of the logistics associated with making the deal.
Together, they then collaborated with Alberami, supporting its sustainability program aimed at promoting regenerative agriculture practices in Italy. By purchasing credits from Alberami, William neutralised the carbon dioxide produced during his international travels.
He has also actively participated in planting a new olive tree during a reforestation project to revitalize a previously abandoned area in the heart of Calabria, Italy.
A small yet immensely significant gesture for the climate.
